NIGERIA CLIMATE INNOVATION CENTRE (NCIC)
The NCIC was launched in 2018 by the World Bank and supported by the Government of Nigeria (GoN) through the Office of the Vice President (OVP) to lead the growth of the Nigerian Green Economy.
In achieving this mandate, NCIC has strategically positioned itself to work very closely with climate-smart community of players (Investors, Financiers, entrepreneurs and project developers) within the NCIC’s 4 broad thematic areas of focus namely: Renewable Energy, Waste management, Smart Agric and Water Solutions. However, NCIC plays very strongly in the circularity and sustainable business space and has created solid footprints in that regard e.g Circular Business Platform Lagos, Circular Hackathons, Circular Cluster Development, Circular infrastructure financing etc.
