Jumamo is a groundbreaking music service for emerging markets built around a fresh model of music distribution that will bring people closer for enjoying both local and global music. Jumamo is an African music streaming service with a focus on genres like Afrobeat, Hip Hop, Reggae, Highlife, Gospel and many more.
The Jumamo unlocking flow is intended to be seamless, undisturbed flow that provides as fluid an experience as possible. It starts with the user navigating the app in search of a playlist to play. Before the user can listen, an unlock screen is presented asking the user of they want to unlock free music by watching a video ad. Once the user has interacted with the ad, the time window of free music is unlocked for the user to enjoy. The advertiser pays and Jumamo will pay the rights holders.
Jumamo Africa is the first dedicated online radio platform that will pay artists for their streams and playlist curators for the streams of their curations.
