Ms. Anthonia Adenaya Huard is passionate about investments, win-win partnerships and sustainable development in Africa, especially Women's participation in these developments.
She was instrumental to the realisation of several large strategic infrastructural projects in West Africa bringing together relevant ecosystems towards common SDG objectives.
+14 years in Management, business development, public affairs, and Multilateral financing. Strong track record and on-the-ground experience from over 30 African countries.
A proven leader and mentor recognised for her entrepreneurial mindset and positive impacts via several awards and media attentions within and outside her organisation.
Holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School, Paris, France, BSc (Hons) in Int´l Relations & Diplomacy in Les Cours Sononu, Benin Republic and Law in University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin
Managing Director, Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA)
Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin is a distinguished scientist, consultant, and seasoned public administrator. His remarkable career includes advisory roles for two Lagos State governors, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Mr. Babatunde Fashola, as well as significant contributions to Oyo State Government under the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Beyond his contributions to governance, Dr. Gbadegesin is renowned for his strategic work in politics, including innovative election technologies such as the SMS-based QuickCount system for the 2007 elections. He holds a doctorate degree in Neuroscience from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction from Howard University in Washington, DC.
Mr. François Lechat
Head of Scania West Africa.
Mr François Lechat is working for Scania Group since 2004 within different positions in sales management and executive positions. After 6 years at Scania West Africa Ltd as Sales & Marketing Director between 2015 to 2021, he is now heading the company since August 2023, covering over twenty countries from Gambia to Angola to deliver Scania products and services. Always focusing on customer dedication and turn key solutions, he has developed and supported several projects in the region regarding urban mobility, promoting exciting and innovative programs as female driver training in Ghana or biofuel city buses delivery in Ivory Coast. Before that, he acted in road transport business across Europe, North Africa and Asia as owner of a transport company for more than ten years.
Dr. Olukemi Amure
Head, Bus Systems, Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA)
Dr. Olukemi Amure holds a PhD in Transport Geography from the University of Lagos.She earned B.Sc. Geography and Planning from the Lagos State University (2000) and M.Sc. Geography from the University of Ibadan (2004). She joined LAMATA in April 2008 as Transport Specialist to assist in the implementation of system procedures, and quality standards for the overall improvement of Public Transportation systems in Lagos.
She has over 15 years of working experience in research and transport industry. She shares knowledge as a volunteer lecturer in the Department of Geography, University of Lagos.
Mr. Aleksi Akpalo

Aleksi Akpaso is a Finnish-Nigerian entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Infradreams Ltd, and an ex- professional basketball player (8 years).
Aleksi’s approach in Nigeria is to create sustainable, comprehensive, and scalable solutions starting from waste management, recycling, and the collection infrastructure, that would support and create enabling factors for utilizing waste to generate electricity.
The young, passionate, and innovative leader aims to have a long-term positive impact in Nigeria that benefits the economy and its young population.
Nathalie Thiel
Project Manager, Business Sweden
Nathalie, a Project Manager at Business Sweden, brings 5 years of hands-on experience in international affairs and business development. Well-versed in navigating global market complexities, she specializes in market analysis and fostering strategic collaborations in sectors like transportation, healthcare, consumer goods, energy, and mining.
Her primary focus is West African markets, where she has worked on different types of engagements, mainly in (1) high-level collaboration between Sweden and these countries, (2) cultivating strategic partnerships for knowledge sharing, and (3) driving business innovation; aligning with Sweden's strategic goals in international affairs.
With a MSc in Business Management from the Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden, Nathalie has experiences in other markets, including China and the United Kingdom, where cross-cultural collaborations are key.
Mr. Ademola Ogunbanjo
Executive Vice President, Oando Clean Energy Ltd.
Ademola is currently the Executive Vice President of Oando Clean Energy Ltd., a subsidiary of Oando Plc. Prior to this, he was an Executive Council Member and GM of the Business Support Group at Oando Energy Resources where he provides leadership for the Human Capital Management, Supply Chain Management and Admin Services, IT, Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility, Governance, and Legal departments.
He has a Certificate in Business, International Relations, and the Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has worked with diverse clients such as the Oando Group, Imo, Kaduna, Lagos, Cross River, Ondo, Ogun and Kano States of Nigeria, he World Bank, DfID, Airtel Nigeria, and more.
